Hello!

I'm Sarah.  I’m a pre-licensed mental health counselor or MHC.  I went to Syracuse University for a master’s in clinical mental health counseling, but I usually go by the title of therapist.

I understand that we live in a society that demands unrealistic and unattainable expectations, especially of women. You’re a mom or you desperately desire to be one. You may look like you have it all “together” on the outside yet feel overwhelmed, broken and like you are somehow always falling short. I am here to help you understand that you are NOT broken and things can get better.

I am passionate about helping clients navigate maternal and reproductive mental health issues, reconnecting with their identity, goals, priorities and relationships.  In addition to supporting new parents adjust to this significant change, I also have a special interest in working with young adults as they navigate life transitions. I believe that everyone is deserving of the healing space that therapy offers and work to offer a warm, empathic, and empowering space for healing and growth.

My approach with clients is influenced by my belief that our common humanity is the foundation upon which the therapeutic relationship is built. I’m on this journey too and as a partner, a mother (to both humans and a golden retriever!) I wholeheartedly believe that being a therapist is more than just helping others; it is also a commitment to my own personal growth.

It is truly sacred to have the opportunity to hold this space for you.  I am convinced that there is no work more important than this. If you are interested in connecting with me please fill out the contact form on our website
