Full Job Description
CNY Therapy Solutions is seeking a Mental Health Providers to fill full and part-time positions in our Syracuse office.
CNY Therapy Solutions is a growing privately owned mental health therapy practice in Syracuse, New York. CTS currently provides therapy to older adolescents and adults to address many areas of mental health including anxiety, depression, phase of life changes, relationship/family issues, grief, and reproductive/perinatal mental health. We have a special focus on serving the mental health needs of women. We use an integrated approach to therapy understanding that one approach does not fit the needs of all clients.
As a member of the clinical team the therapist will practice psychotherapy to treat individuals experiencing difficulty in their emotional health, relationships, and other mood and behavioral changes. The therapist will address these areas while considering ethical, developmental, and preventative issues involved in treatment. The therapist will be expected to provide therapy within the scope of their interest and expertise while utilizing multiple evidenced based approaches to best meet the needs of their clients. The development and facilitation of therapy groups would also be encouraged.
Candidates must have the following:
Be permitted to practice mental health therapy in New York State through the Office of Professions
Minimum one year of experience in the practice of psychotherapy, including assessment and diagnosis based on DSM-V-TR criteria (experience can be paid employment or internship)
Working knowledge of necessary clinical paperwork in practice of psychotherapy
Maintain appropriate boundaries with clients and make sound ethical decisions
Demonstrate independence and organization
Ability to navigate the technological needs of the practice, such as use of electronic medical records
Daytime availability
